Madeline + Jonathan

10.25.2019

So excited for your day.

Let's get down to all the little details.

Thank you so much in advance for filling this out! This information really helps so we can cater to what's important to you on your unique wedding day. I've also sprinkled in some tips based on my experience. Please let me know if you have any questions. I'm very excited to be part of it!!

Please also note that 30 minutes will be needed to set up before the ceremony for video where we aren't needed to be shooting something else, so plan accordingly.

Audio is a priority for your video so we will be placing a lav mic on you both before your first looks through the ceremony , so we will need a few minutes you both to get that set.

Also please let your venue and DJ know you will have a videographer and we like to run an audio line out of their system for the best audio possible. We’re also happy to reach out to them ourselves, just give us their contact info!

If having hair and makeup at same getting ready location, please provide estimated finishing time for hair and makeup.
Tip! If possible, I recommend you get ready in the same location (e.g., church, hotel, house, etc.) That way if things start running behind I can photograph the other group! Also, if possible it's nice to have someone bring your outfit about 15-30 minutes before you plan to arrive (if arriving from hair and makeup elsewhere). That will give me time to photograph it before you arrive!

Would you like photos of the invitations? *
Tip! If you could have a copy of the invitation and program while you're getting ready, that would be great. Also, don't forget the marriage license :)
Tip! I recommend that whoever you'd like included in the "getting ready" photos get dressed before you so you are both dressed. Also, allow at least 10 minutes to get a corset dress on!
Are you having a special "first look" before the wedding ceremony? *
Tip! Unless you have REALLY strong feelings against seeing each other before the ceremony, I highly recommend having a first look. You'll get to spend more time together on your wedding day, you'll get pictures of the two of you when you are at your freshest, you don't have to worry about formal photos after the ceremony (only fun!), and no matter whether you see each other in advance it's always special when you walk down the aisle. It's your wedding day so you should do exactly what you'd like - this is only my opinion after seeing dozens and dozens of weddings unfold!
And if so, do you want to read eachothers letters aloud for video?
Amount of time you'd like to spend taking photos with just the two of you: *
Tip! I usually recommend 30 - 45 minutes, but it's your day and completely up to what's important to you!
Any special circumstances on the bride's side you'd like me to know about (divorce relationships, death, etc.) If you have a blended family, what parent/sibling combinations would you like for family photos?
Please include the names of all siblings and their partners and children

This is the order and groupings for family photos that I typically recommend: (1) Bride and groom and ring bearer(s)/ flower girl(s) (2) Bride and groom with bride's Immediate Family (3) Bride and Groom with Bride's Parents (4) Bride and her siblings (5) Bride and groom with Brides’ Parents (6) Bride and groom with groom's Parents (7) Bride and groom with groom's Immediate Family (8) Groom and Siblings (9) Bride and Groom with Best Man/Maid of Honor (10) Entire Wedding Party with Ushers and without Ushers (11) Bride and groom alone. I usually recommend budgeting 30 - 40 minutes for this list of formals. Please list any additional photos you would like and in what order, keeping in mind this will add time for formal shots.
If so please list with names!
Are photos with each member of the wedding party important to you? *
Do you have a strong opinion about taking formal photos inside the church or venue? (if applicable) *
Tip! I usually recommend we move outside for the photos. The light is always so much nicer and even if the church is gorgeous the photos on the altar are never as beautiful as the church. Regardless, I always plan to get a shot of just the couple in the church.

Tip! Lets try to plan on being done taking formal photos/photos of the couple one hour before the ceremony starts. This allows you time to freshen up and relax before the ceremony.
For example: Receiving line, bubbles, nothing, we're hopping on the bus, etc.
Tip! If you plan on stopping at a bar, I recommend calling them beforehand to make sure they are open and can handle your party!
